Mum and Dad

My aged parents came to London recently and stayed in this amazing deco house, just of Kings Road in Chelsea.
I found it through Alistair Sawday's special places to stay web site, it is owned and run by a really friendly lady. She has one extremely gorgeous, well appointed, perfectly decorated bedroom, on the first floor that she runs as a uber delux Bed and Breakfast.

We loved it and I'd def book it again.

Corgi's galore

It's a diamond jubilee year, good queen Elizabeth has been on the throne for 60 years.

One of many many things happening at Selfridges to celebrate the jubilee, are hoards of Corgi's roaming the store, handbag toting, scarf wearing life sized Corgi's.

They are causing quite a stir, but before anyone calls the Corgi protection society, please note they are china, really they are life sized china ornaments.
