Snow day

Us Londoners always find snow such a novelty. Goodness knows why, as it visits us most years, but each time it arrives it takes us by surprise, despite the fact that mostly every weather channel tells us it is on its way.


London looks beautiful today, shrouded in her snow coat.












I am very glad of my new boots, a lovely Christmas present.
They are the perfect footwear for such conditions.

Red heads

I am drawn to the concept of red hair.
Ever since reading Anne of Green Gables when I was about 10, I have wanted to be a red head.
I have tried many ways, from a tinfoil wrapped head full of henna to many types of dye, all to achieve a glorious head of red hair
