the above table is not her normal style - this
was for Wallpaper's Handmade installation
they asked her to be a bit more "wallpapery"

Wonder

A Brian Eno-esq
trance enducing moment,
caught and suspended in elastic time
stretching into the infinite..
we were drawn to this installation
 like moths to a magic lantern flame,
by Canon at SuperStudio in Milan last week
Projected down threads the colours spun infront of us
and held us in their mesmerizing web

Did you have a spirograph set when you were little?
as if you did and you loved it -
then you will love this just as much, if not more.
"Drawing machine" by Eske Rex, at Mindcraft11,
is a thing of magic and beauty.
 It lulls you into a trance as you watch the pen,
 lead by pendulums and weights
slowly dance in loops across the paper
I always seemed to slip and ruin my
spirogragh drawings just at the last minute,
this produces drawings of a scale
and majesty that mesmorise the mind





Spazio Rosanna Orlandi never fails to disappoint
the woman is my hero

-Imagine a wardrobe of precisely filed clothes
just like this...

Studio Formafantasma offers a new perspective on plasticity
reinterpreting centeries old technology to offer us a  future use
plastic replacement 

 

James Plumb's installation delighted as usual,
I am personally fixated on these
suitcase sets

cute, eh?
it kinda reminds me of Ercol love seat
and I have always wanted one of them.
You'd have to love the person you shared this with, as you'd be sitting on their knees

tomato power

These tomatoes power the tiny teeny light in the foreground of the picture,
I didn't know they had it in them!
(apparently best not to eat them afterwards) also....apparently it's not that the tomatoes "produce" electricity, it is that copper plus zinc plus tomato juice as the conductive electrolyte make a battery - clever eh?
