very funnily he is sometimes referred to as a rockstar physicist (bet he hates that)


Professor Brian Cox in the BBC TV series Wonders of the Solar System in which he uses locations on Earth to describe how the laws of nature work across the solar system.


He makes things you always thought were complicated sound understandable and maybe even simple. 
Find him on TV and watch him bring science to the masses

3. In the Last Enemy in 2008 as a troubled mathematician sucked into a global conspiracy

4. As a modern day Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock, now showing on BBC1 on Sunday evenings (watch it)

 

Damian Lewis - let me count the ways I love him;

1. As Soames in the Forsyte Saga, he is a silently repellant character

2. As Charlie in Life

3. As as Richard Winters in the HBO/BBCWorld War II miniseries Band of Brothers
